KORTEX is intelligence infrastructure — a single core engine that turns fragmented knowledge into cited, executable answers. KORTEX Enterprise applies it to organizations. NAUTILUS applies it to maritime operations. Same engine, different domains.

KORTEX Enterprise
Organizational Intelligence
Turn your organization's scattered knowledge into structured, contextual and executable intelligence. Connect your systems, understand organizational context, and get cited, source-grounded answers - with agentic actions on the roadmap.
From regulation to action. NAUTILUS applies the same intelligence engine to maritime operations - turning regulations, procedures and vessel documentation into voyage-specific requirements, actions and evidence.
KORTEX Enterprise is what's in active development across the rest of this page. NAUTILUS is an early concept for a future vertical - neither is live yet.

Agents that don't just answer - they act. Deploy AI workers that process refunds, onboard new hires, reconcile invoices, and escalate support tickets. Each agent has memory, confidence scoring, and a full audit trail. Humans stay in control with configurable approval gates.
KORTEX Enterprise and NAUTILUS run on the same knowledge engine, agent framework, and provenance layer — just pointed at different domains. New verticals don't mean rebuilding the core.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask.
Not as a public product yet — we're in active development, working with a small group of early design partners. The demo on this site reflects the direction we're building toward. Join the waitlist to be notified as access opens up.
Most AI search tools work within a single app, or treat other tools as a thin index. KORTEX is built to unify knowledge across your entire stack — Slack, Notion, Gmail, Jira, HubSpot, and more — into one connected graph, so an answer can draw on a sales note, an engineering ticket, and a customer email at once.
Pricing isn't finalized — we're shaping it with early design partners rather than guessing in advance. If you're interested, join the waitlist or reach out directly.
Security architecture is being built in from day one, and formal certifications (SOC 2, etc.) are in progress rather than complete — we'd rather tell you honestly where we are than claim something we haven't earned yet. Enterprise security questions can go directly to founder@kortexco.com.

The Company Brain Investor Overview
KORTEX is building the intelligence layer that sits beneath every team, every workflow, every decision, making institutional knowledge accessible, actionable, and alive.
Knowledge fragmentation is a $31K-per-employee annual tax. When people leave, institutional memory walks out the door. The same questions get answered thousands of times.
Knowledge is scattered
Decisions in Slack. Processes in Notion. Customer data in HubSpot. Tickets in Jira. No unified view exists.
47%
of work time lost searching
Institutional amnesia
When senior employees leave, years of context vanish. Onboarding costs spike. Problems get re-solved.
$200K
avg cost per departure
Repeated questions
"Who owns this?" "What did we decide?" Leaders spend 40% of their time answering questions with existing answers.
The intelligence layer beneath every company. IPO or strategic exit.
Why Now
Five forces converging at exactly this moment
AI capability threshold crossed
LLMs and embedding models are now powerful enough to understand organizational context at scale - for the first time ever.
Knowledge crisis at breaking point
Remote work fragmented teams further. The average company uses 6+ knowledge tools with zero connectivity between them.
Infrastructure costs collapsed
Vector databases (pgvector), inference APIs (Groq), and embedding models are now production-ready and near-zero cost.
Competitive landscape is open
No incumbent owns this space. Notion, Glean, and Confluence are bolt-on AI. KORTEX is AI-native from day one.
Global workforce digitization
300M+ knowledge workers worldwide need intelligent tools. MENA and emerging markets are leapfrogging legacy systems.
Network effects favor early movers
More connected sources = better answers = more users = more sources. The flywheel compounds from day one.

Maritime Intelligence by KORTEX · Early Concept — Not Built
From regulation to action.
Nautilus is an early-stage concept for a maritime operations & compliance intelligence platform, applying KORTEX's core intelligence engine to a new domain. Nothing on this page is built or available today - it's a direction we're exploring.
A single vessel operates under IMO, flag-state, port-state, class and company rules at once. The information exists - it's just fragmented across PDFs, manuals, emails and paper checklists, with no single operational view of what applies and what's missing.
⚓
Regulations, everywhere
SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISM, ISPS, flag-state rules, port-state requirements, class rules, company SMS manuals, and vessel-specific procedures - each in its own document, updated on its own schedule.
🧭
Manual interpretation
A chief officer has to work out what applies to this vessel, this cargo, this route and this port - by hand, every voyage, usually under time pressure.
📋
No live compliance state
Nobody has a real-time answer to "are we ready to depart?" - just binders, spreadsheets, and institutional memory that doesn't transfer between crews.
Voyage Intelligence Engine
What applies. What's needed. What's missing.
The concept: enter a vessel and voyage, and Nautilus would work out what matters - not hand over a stack of PDFs.
1
What applies?
Not "here are 800 pages of SOLAS" - the ~27 requirements that actually matter for this vessel, cargo, route and date.
2
What's needed?
Requirements become actions: verify this certificate, complete that checklist, confirm cargo documentation - each with an owner and a status.
3
What's missing?
A continuous check of what should exist against what actually does - valid, missing, pending, or expiring soon.
4
Ask Nautilus
"Are we compliant for departure?" answered with a status and sources - not an AI-generated paragraph.
Concept Preview
What Nautilus could look like
Concept art only. This interface does not exist, and no vessel, voyage or document shown is real.
A rough shape for the product, not a build commitment.
Fleet
Vessels, IMO numbers, flags, certificates, equipment and crew in one place.
Voyage
Origin, destination, route, cargo and ETA - the inputs to a voyage-specific intelligence model.
Compliance
A live view of mandatory, documentation, equipment, crew and port compliance.
Documents
Certificates, manuals and circulars, extracted, linked to requirements, and source-traceable.
AI Officer
"What's missing before this port?" answered with a status and a source, not a guess.
Audit / Inspection
Requirement → evidence → document → date → person, ready for an inspector to review.

Shape Nautilus
Maritime background? We'd like to talk.
This concept is early. If you work in shipping, compliance, or fleet ops and this resonates - or doesn't - we want to hear it. Nothing described here is available today.
Ask about this voyage - answered with a status and a source, not a guess.
Try asking
Audit / Inspection
An inspector asks for evidence. Nautilus would trace it back.
Requirement→Evidence→Document→Date→Person
Example: "Lifeboat inspection" → equipment register entry → survey report PDF → completed 3 months ago → signed off by the Chief Officer. Instead of digging through folders, an inspector would get this chain instantly.
